THEOLOGY: THERE IS A CHRISTIAN SPIRITUAL AWAKENING IN MADAGASCAR!
RépondreSupprimerSunday morning of April 5, 2014, I was in the center of Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar, for the first morning worship at 6:00 am.
Finding:
1) To my amazement, the Protestant Cathedral FJKM Analakely was crowded with people from all social strata, for the first Sunday service, at 6:30 in the morning!
2) So, I went to Temple Lutheran FLM 67Ha, at 6:40 am, and the Temple was also crowded. And I hear beautiful songs already from the outside. Surprised to see a Professor of Law and Political Science with plastic chairs, I wondered why they need to bring this to the temple. The answer is that the Lutheran Temple 67Ha was also packed, and even there were still people who were standing outside the Temple, even if there are three worship services on Sundays!
3) At 6:45 in the morning, I am heading to Temple Lutheran FLM Ambatovinaky for the first Sunday morning service, and already at the intersection of four roads in Ambatonakanga, there were plenty of cars, and this until of the vicinity of the quarter of Ambatovinaky! So the phenomenon is the same!
4) Finally, I went to the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church EKAR Faravohitra, where the first Sunday Mass has already begun to 6:30 am. In addition, there are five Sunday Masses every Sunday in this Church. And always with beautiful hymns for Mass! And the Church is also packed!
5) Almost in all the churches and temples of Madagascar, both in town and in the countryside, I witnessed the same phenomenon: Churches and Christian temples are crowded!
MY CONCLUSION: I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES, THERE IS A CHRISTIAN SPIRITUAL AWAKENING IN MADAGASCAR!
Thus, the prophetic Word of the Lord YHWH , the Holy One of Israel, the Almighty, that He gave to Madagascar, more than a century ago, come to my mind :
"ARISE, BE BRIGHT, FOR YOUR LIGHT COMES, AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU!" (Isaiah 60:1).
Unto the Lord Elohim, the Creator of the Universe, the Lord YHWH, the Holy One of Israel, the Almighty, alone be the Glory, in the name of Yashua Ha Mashiah or Jesus Christ, the King of king and Lord of lords!
